Where research meets movies: Science. Art. Film.

You might have spotted our posters on ANU screens or picked up one of our postcards around Canberra. Our “Science. Art. Film.” series dives into the weird, wonderful and thought‑provoking ways we imagine science, scientific ideas and our technoscientific futures through cinema – and you can be part of it.

“Science. Art. Film.” is a fantastic partnership and collaboration between the Popsicule at the ANU Centre for the Public Awareness of Science CPAS and the NFSA – National Film and Sound Archive of Australia in Canberra.

Find out more in our brand‑new article, published with Systems & Society at ANU!

If you’re keen to join our next “Science. Art. Film.” event on 20 May at 6pm – we will be showing and discussing “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” – be quick – only 3 seats left!
