I am co-founder of Sci_Burst, a next-gen science communication podcast and startup communicating STEM to non-experts via popular culture and entertainment. As part of Sci_Burst, I also help various STEM organisations reach new and younger audiences by leveraging podcasting and pop culture.

I am an ANU graduate holding a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours) in Science Communication helping transform the way science and technology are integrated with society in the 21st century. In 2021 I completed my Honours project on how science is communicated through Aboriginal sci-fi texts. My current research interests include science in popular fiction, the cultural meanings of science, the history of women in science communication, and the relationships between humans, the environment and emerging technologies.

I was previously a Research Assistant and Research Officer at the ANU School of Cybernetics. Under the leadership of Distinguished Professor Genevieve Bell, I researched how the history of technology in Australia can help inform current and emerging technological systems like Artificial Intelligence.
